// I don't know what to say...

Hey,
Ferhid here

Welcome to my Portoflio. This is a space whe I want to share more about me. I love to ask many questions about everything and I am intersted in various subjects, such as physics, robotics, philosophy and business. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching animes and building tech gadgets. Ooh I play minecraft too.

Where I come from,
where I'm going

I'm from Burkina Faso — a country that taught me nothing falls from the sky, that hard work matters, and that curiosity is the best compass. I build, I create, I fail sometimes, and I always start again.

02 What I Do

I put my hands
in everything

Engineering, design, code, entrepreneurship — I don't like boxes. What drives me is that moment when a blurry idea becomes something real and tangible.

03 Journey

The moments that
changed everything

2024
CERN — Geneva, Switzerland

Research visit to the world's largest particle physics laboratory — home to the Large Hadron Collider. Met scientists and engineers operating at the absolute frontier of human knowledge.

2024
NASA Student Art Contest

Selected in the NASA Langley Research Center Student Art Contest — where artistic expression meets space exploration. Art and science, together.

2024
YYAS Alumni Ambassador — Yale University

Elected as a Yale Young African Scholars Alumni Ambassador. Representing Burkina Faso and sub-Saharan Africa, mentoring future applicants, and advocating for STEM access across the continent.

2023–24
First Global Challenge — Robotics Olympics

Technical Leader & Programmer for Team Burkina Faso at the world's premier international robotics competition — Singapore 2023 (Hydrogen Horizons) and Athens 2024 (Feeding the Future). Competed against 180+ nations.

What truly drives me? Not diplomas or certificates (even though I have a few, haha). It's the idea of proving it's possible. That you don't need to be born in the right place to do great things.

I have outrageously big dreams, and I've learned to think that's pretty cool rather than apologise for it.
